Service Description

• RemoveHandwriting is an AI-powered service that removes handwritten text from images while preserving printed text.
• Supported formats: JPG, PNG, and PDF files.
• Images are processed in memory and are not permanently stored on our servers.
• The service is provided on an as-available basis, and actual results and performance vary depending on image characteristics, request volume, server load, concurrency, and third-party infrastructure.

Accounts & Authentication

• Email verification or Google login may be used to authenticate.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
• You can manage and delete your account from your account page.

Credits & Subscriptions

• We offer both credits and subscriptions for service usage.
• Credits can be earned by sharing our website and can be used when you do not have an active subscription.
• Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; see pricing page for details.

Payment & Billing

• Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal.
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our refund policy.
• API access and API credentials are non-refundable once issued, except where our refund policy expressly states otherwise.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Acceptable Use

• You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited under this clause.
• You may not use the service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers.
• Do not upload images containing sensitive personal information or inappropriate content.
• Non-API plan users may only use the service manually through our website or mobile application.
• You are prohibited from using automation scripts, reverse engineering API protocols, or accessing the service programmatically.
• We record all image processing operations to detect violations of these terms.
• If your use case involves high-volume automation, production workloads, or custom performance requirements, you should contact us before purchase to discuss whether a separate written arrangement is needed.

Performance Disclaimer

• Public descriptions of speed, reliability, availability, or production readiness are illustrative only and do not constitute a guarantee, commitment, or service level agreement (SLA).
• Actual performance varies depending on image characteristics, request volume, server load, concurrency, customer environment, and third-party infrastructure.
• Any SLA, guaranteed latency, throughput, concurrency commitment, or custom enterprise arrangement must be separately agreed in writing.

Intellectual Property

• The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RemoveHandwriting and its licensors.
• Images you upload remain your property; we do not claim ownership of your content.
• We do not permanently store processed images on our servers.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which governs your use of the service.

Limitation of Liability

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability is limited to the fees for the affected billing cycle.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, speed, throughput, concurrency capacity, or suitability of processed output for any particular business purpose.
• We are not liable for delays, degradation, or interruptions caused by customer environment, network conditions, cloud providers, CDNs, payment providers, or other third-party infrastructure.

No Warranty / Fitness for Purpose

• We do not warrant that the service will meet any particular business requirement, production workload, deployment expectation, or end-user experience target.
• We do not warrant that the service is fit for a particular purpose, including any specific customer workflow, concurrency model, latency target, or commercial use case.
• You are responsible for evaluating whether the service is suitable for your intended use before relying on it in a production environment.

Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time from your account page.
• We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
• Violations of these terms, including unauthorized use of automation scripts, may result in account suspension or termination and may affect refund eligibility.
