What this tool does
Increase the file size of a JPEG or PNG to meet a minimum KB or MB requirement. The tool adds valid container data without re-encoding the original pixels, so the picture, dimensions, transparency and original metadata are preserved.
When to use it
Use this tool when an upload requires a file of at least 200 KB, 500 KB or 1 MB and your original is smaller. This changes file weight, not image resolution or clarity. Check the receiving service’s rules before using the result.

How precisely can I set the size?

Will processing change image quality?
Increasing file size does not improve clarity. Upload services may remove metadata or re-encode the image, making it smaller again. Acceptance depends on the service.

Input formats: JPEG, PNG (still images only). Output formats: JPEG, PNG. Animated images are not supported. Please choose a still image.
Why might processing fail?
A target below the original requires compression instead. Targets above the output limit are rejected. Upload services can remove added container data or re-encode images, so acceptance and the final stored file size are not guaranteed. This image is damaged or could not be decoded. Choose a non-empty image no larger than 20 MB.
