Temporary File Sharing

• Temporary sharing is optional and separate from handwriting removal. Files are used only for the storage and transfer you request, not AI model training.
• Anyone with the link can download. Avoid confidential or sensitive files. Links expire after 24 hours; stored files are removed by scheduled cleanup. This service does not scan files for malware.
• Keep this page open to delete your file early. Previously issued download links may work for up to 30 seconds after deletion.
• Network addresses are stored as keyed hashes for transfer quotas. Usage records are retained for up to eight calendar days.

Accounts & Login

• Email verification or Google login may be used to authenticate.
• Profile data includes email and basic account information.
• You can manage and delete your account directly from your account page. For assistance, contact service@removehandwriting.com.

Camera & Photo Access

• On our mobile app, we request camera permission to capture photos of documents for handwriting removal.
• We may also request access to your photo library to let you select existing images for processing.
• Photos taken or selected are used solely for processing and are not stored permanently on our servers.

Image Processing & Retention

• Images and PDFs are processed only to provide the requested handwriting removal.
• Files may be kept temporarily during processing or error recovery, then deleted automatically.
• We do not store uploaded files permanently.
• Uploaded files are not used for AI model training.
• Files are encrypted in transit during upload and processing.
• Error logs are minimized and generally exclude file content.

Credits & Subscriptions

• We offer both credits and subscriptions.
• Credits can be earned by sharing our website and can be used when you do not have an active subscription.
• Subscription billing details are available on the pricing page; cancellation is supported at any time.

Payments

• Payments may be processed via Stripe or PayPal; payment data is handled by the payment provider.
• We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

Analytics & Cookies

• We may use Google Tag Manager/Analytics to understand product usage.
• Cookies help maintain sessions and preferences; you can control cookies in your browser settings.

Your Rights

• Request access, correction, export of your personal data; delete your account from your account page.
• Withdraw consent where applicable; contact service@removehandwriting.com for other data rights requests.

Children & Sensitive Information

• Not intended for children under 13.
• Avoid uploading images containing sensitive personal information.

• This v2.0 policy reflects the redesign launched in mid-October 2025.
• We will update this page for material changes and record the modification date above.
